Shipping Information:

Our preferred method of shipment is USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation within the United States. For orders over $50 we will choose the least expensive method of shipment, USPS or UPS. USPS Priority Mail usually arrives within 3 days. UPS Ground takes 7 to 10 days.

Domestic US Postal Service and UPS rates are based on weight, size and zone. Due to variances in the weight and price of fabric and other items, and the use of postal zones, we have found that it is impractical to calculate shipping costs accurately in all cases. Therefore, all shipping charges are estimates only and may be higher or lower depending on which postal zone you live in.

International orders will be shipped Global Priority unless you request otherwise. When possible we will use a flat rate Global Priority envelope, which ships to Canada and Mexico for $9.95 and to all other Global Priority countries for $11.95. Packages shipped using the flat rate envelope may not weight more than 4 pounds and must be able to seal securely. We can generally fit 4 to 5 yards of fabric into one of these envelopes as long as the fabric is not flannel. If order consists of more than 5 yards of fabric two or more envelopes may be needed.

Customers are responsible for any Custom or Duty fees incurred.

We make every effort to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, generally within 1-3 business days of receipt of your order.

**Please Note: When items are on sale or discounted, the shipping is estimated using the full retail price of that item. All shipping costs are estimates only and may be higher or lower than shown. If they are significantly higher we will email you with the correct amount.

***International Customers: If we are not able to ship Global Priority to your country, we will email you with the exact shipping charges.

Payment:

All prices for products and shipping are in US dollars. We accept Visa. MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept personal checks. We do, however, accept money orders/cashiers checks from customers ordering within the United States. From all other countries, payment must be made by credit card.

About our fabrics:

All fabrics are 42 – 45” wide and 100% cotton unless stated otherwise in the product description. The minimum cut for fabric is ½ yard.


Return Policy:

We want you to love the products you receive and realize that images viewed on your monitor may differ from the actual. Therefore, if you should receive an item that does not meet your expectations, you may return it within 15 days of receipt.

Please contact us via email at contact@emptyspoolonline.com for a return authorization number before sending any items back to us.

Returned items must be in saleable condition so please keep any items you plan to return in a smoke-free environment until ready to ship them back. All returns must be accompanied by the original packing slip.

Returns will be given in the same manner as payment was received. If payment was made using a credit card, a credit is issued to the same account number. If payment was made with a money order/cashiers check, a refund check will be mailed.

If the return is due to an error on the part of The Empty Spool, the refund will include the amount of purchase for the returned item and the shipping costs in getting the item back to us. For any other reason, the shipping costs are the responsibility of the sender. No package will be accepted sent “collect” or “postage due”.

Materials that are copywrited, such as books and patterns, can not be returned for any reason. All sale and clearance fabric purchases are final and may not be returned.
